“I’m drawn to moments that feel too big for words — that’s where my art begins,” she says. “Painting helps me process the world and put truth into something people can see.”
Her dedication has earned her state-level recognition, including first place at the State Fair’s annual art competition and the Texas JCL Art Convention. Even while balancing the demands of high school, competitive tennis, and volunteering, Pragati prioritizes her art.
“No matter how busy life gets, I always come back to art. It’s the one thing that makes me feel most like myself.”
